Green ‘nutters’ and ‘lunatics’ want to ban the word ‘mother’
Under the Greens’ ‘inclusive language’ policy, you can call for the destruction of Israel but can’t use the word ‘female’.

We’ve all enjoyed recent videos of Zack Polanski pleading for our vote in Urdu. But the Greens have reminded us that, when it comes to making idiots of themselves, they still do it best in English. Ahead of Saturday’s party conference in Brighton, the Green Party of England and Wales has released its ‘Inclusive Terminology Guidance’. This ‘inclusive’ guidance is, in reality, a list of banned words and phrases.
Predictably, high on the list is anything that hints at the existence of men and women. Instead of ‘mothers’ and ‘fathers’, conference-goers must say ‘parents’ and ‘carers’. The guidance also bans any ‘gendered job titles’, such as ‘policeman’, ‘chairman’ or ‘female politician’ – even ‘lady doctor’.
Words like ‘elderly’, ‘able-bodied’, ‘youngster’ and ‘homosexual’ are also proscribed. Party activists are reminded that ‘global majority’ has replaced BAME (black and minority ethnic) as the only appropriate label for people who don’t appear to have hailed from a Western background. Other ‘unacceptable’ words include ‘nutter’ and ‘lunatic’ – deemed so because they ‘reinforce negative stereotypes and stigma about mental health’.
The Greens have gone to this trouble of compiling a language guide supposedly to prevent ‘environments that feel unwelcoming or exclusionary’ at the conference. This sounds like a nice idea. But it is hard to reconcile this aspiration with the Green Party’s increasingly vicious anti-Semitism – sorry, ‘anti-Zionism’.
One of the most hotly anticipated events at the coming conference is the ‘Zionism is racism’ motion, which is set to be debated by party members. If successful, this motion will have two significant implications – neither good for Jewish people. The first is that it would become the official view of the Greens that the state of Israel – where around half of the world’s Jews live – should not exist. Secondly, it would also effectively banish most practising Jews from the Green Party. Jewish members will face sanctions simply for attending a ‘Zionist’ synagogue.
In other words, call a male police officer a ‘policeman’, and you’ll get kicked out of the Green conference. Yet call for the erasure of the Jewish state or label Jews ‘racist’ for practising their faith, and you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
For all their talk of ‘inclusivity’, the Greens are remarkably relaxed about the prospect of becoming a Jew-free party. The banned words ‘nutters’ and ‘lunatics’ come to mind, but perhaps they’re not strong enough to describe this deeply sinister sect.
