Silent spring might have elicited an exaggerated response but pesticides do take an incredible toll on nature. Look at the decline of predatory birds that have since recovered after DDT was outlawed. Environmentalism is extremely valid however the left takes it to an illogical extreme. We need to protect our environment for our use and for the longevity of nature.
