How the EU played the Irish. And how the Irish deserved it.

After Brexit there needs to be continuing free trade between Northern Ireland and the Irish republic and between the three nations of Great Britain and the Irish republic – whose official name is Ireland. There are longstanding mental borders between Ireland and England and between Ireland and Northern Ireland. I should mention en passant the mental borders between England and France, epitomised by the cliche which states that ‘foreigners begin at Calais’. The different cultures, ethnic identities, historical and economic experiences and languages constitute a speckled mosaic known as Europe, which is only partly encompassed by the EU. After Brexit, there will be a task for well-intentioned cosmopolitan Europeans of all states big and small to work for mutual understanding across political borders. The future integrity and survival of European civilisation will depend on co-operation and respect. Civic groups, professional organisations, trades unions, educational networks and religious organisations will have to work harder across national borders than governments.

Here’s something, though.

If this site has any credibility beyond next weekend, then I’d advise you to sell.

Perhaps only Linda Payne is the other one with any comprehension just as to how incensed l am about fellow humans siding with the satanic levt.

It’s sad when remainers not previously noted for their concern for peace in Ireland suddenly become experts. Sad too when the Irish grovel to their new colonial masters in Germany. Wouldn’t be the first time Irish Republicans have seen England’s difficulty as Ireland’s opportunity either. History repeats itself…

Well who played who ? It wuz us Brit wut dunnit ..
No one in Brexit bothered to make a plan , due some due diligence and forgot WTO rules. The EU has external borders with Russia Turkey, Ukraine etc and N Ireland. But Brexiters were so high on their “Win” they never bothered to think past WIN.
So they expect the EU to remove all their external borders, which they would have to as any of the other countries could complain to the WTO. But Brexit was about “Controlling our Borders” and to say no smuggling goes on in NI is a fricking joke.
So it was the EU it was dumbass brexiters who couldn’t plan their way out of a paper bag

And just what the benefits again ? To USA no one to stand up to their big business. Too Russia no more hassles about taking over Ukraine and to China less fuss ….
UK Blue fricking passports LOL
now thats worth it innit ?
