The Battle of Ideas is one of my intellectual highlights of the year.

On the weekend of 17 and 18 October, at Church House in Westminster, hundreds of speakers will gather for dozens of panels discussing all of the pressing issues of our time, at this brilliant annual conference.

Not only will the spiked crew be speaking at a number of sessions over the weekend, we’ll also be bringing our podcasts to the festival for two brilliant live shows – complete with plenty of time for questions from the audience.

On the Saturday, we’ll be recording the spiked podcast, with Triggernometry’s Francis Foster, the Telegraph’s Poppy Coburn and Heretics host Andrew Gold joining Fraser Myers and yours truly.

And on the Sunday, we’ll be doing Last Orders, with internet impressionist Tony Lapidus (who will be doing various characters) and commentator Gawain Towler joining Chris Snowdon and some bloke called Tom Slater.

You really don’t want to miss this. Plus, as a spiked reader, you can get 20 per cent off! Click here to book your discounted ticket.

See you there!
