The West’s lies about Israel are falling apart
The IDF’s assassination of Mohammed Sinwar shatters the neo-medieval libels of the anti-Israel set.

So it seems Mohammed Sinwar is dead. The de facto chief of Hamas in Gaza has been ‘eliminated’, says Israel. Yesterday, in a speech marking 600 days of war between the Jewish State and that army of anti-Semites, Benjamin Netanyahu said Sinwar was indeed killed in Israel’s airstrike on the European Hospital in Khan Younis on 13 May. If this is correct, then it is a blistering defeat not only for Hamas but also for the West’s furiously Israelophobic elites. For one of their chief libels against Israel – that it bombs hospitals for sport – may have just taken one hell of a beating.
Mohammed Sinwar was the younger brother of Yahya, who was leader of Hamas in Gaza from 2017 until his assassination by the Israel Defence Forces in October last year. Yahya masterminded the pogrom of 7 October 2023. Mohammed succeeded him following his assassination. Hamas really has been decapitated. The Sinwars are dead. Mohammed Deif, head of the al-Qassam Brigades, was slain in an airstrike in July last year. In that same month, Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’s political boss, was taken out in a targeted strike on a guesthouse he was staying at in Tehran. This has hands down been the most successful anti-fascist operation of the 21st century so far.
The reported killing of Mohammed Sinwar could prove to be an especially important event. It would have consequences – brilliantly dire ones – both for Hamas and for the West’s army of Israel-haters. It seems he was meeting with his fellow neo-fascists in a bunker under the courtyard of the European Hospital. That’s a hospital that was set up with a grant from the European Union and run by the UN through its local Palestine agency, UNRWA. Let that sink in: a mass murderer of Jews, the leader of a movement that carried out the worst act of anti-Semitic slaughter since the Nazis, found refuge under a facility funded by the globalist outfits that are forever wagging a finger at ‘genocidal’ Israel.
Where the murderous anti-Semite took physical cover in an institution birthed by the EU, he was given moral cover by the anti-Israel activist class. No sooner had Israel bombed the European Hospital than it was being branded a ‘war crime’. Social media were awash with rage against the ‘Zionist monsters’ and their ‘atrocities beyond imagination’. This strike ‘highlights Israeli attacks on [Gaza’s] health system’, said the New York Times. Some believe Israel is ‘aiming to destroy Gaza’s health infrastructure’, it said. Sky News went all out to ‘debunk’ Israel’s claim that it had struck a Hamas cell. In truth, it bombed a hospital where ‘kids with cancer are waiting to be evacuated’. Firing missiles at diseased children – that’s how evil the Jewish State is.
Yet now it seems that what’s really falling apart is not Israel’s insistence that Sinwar was under that hospital, but the incessant cry of ‘LYING ZIONISTS’ from influencers in the West. Within days of the strike, there were reports from Gaza that Sinwar was indeed in a tunnel there. Asharq Al-Awsat, the London-based Arab newspaper, cited ‘sources’ saying Sinwar was killed in the hospital strike and his body was removed by Hamas and ‘temporarily buried’ in another tunnel. Saudi sources said Sinwar was definitely there, along with other ‘top militants’, including Mohammad Shabana, commander of Hamas’s Rafah brigade. He was reportedly killed, too.
Israeli officials said it was ‘likely’ Sinwar was killed. And now Netanyahu says, yes, he was ‘eliminated’ – not something the PM would so confidently state if he didn’t have solid intelligence that Sinwar is no more. So the ‘Zionist monsters’ did not strike the European Hospital because they lust for the blood of innocents with cancer – they struck it because Jew-hating militants were gathered there. Their target was not sick children but sicko fascists. For all the neo-medieval whispers about the Jewish nation gleefully laying waste to a medical facility full of kids, in truth it fired a targeted missile at men who organised the mass rape and murder of Jews.
Will the media elites retract their defamations? Not likely. My guess is they’ll let this story fade. They’ll subtly memory-hole it. For it heaps shame on them. It exposes them as excuse-makers for one of the most barbarous outfits on Earth. As the Jewish nation struck at the Islamo-cult that visited such apocalyptic racial violence on its people, they effectively pushed the Hamas line. They falsely said this was another bloodlusting assault by deranged Zionists on the civilian infrastructure of Gaza. As Israel faced down the genocidal terrorists that dream of destroying the Jewish homeland, they insinuated that it’s Israel that’s genocidal.
That’s the thing: the media-elite handwringing over the strike on the European Hospital was more than misinformation – it was a complete inversion of truth. It was Hamas that was using the hospital for military purposes, yet they suggested it was Israel that was doing that. It was Hamas that endangered sick kids’ lives by turning their facility into an outpost in a raging war, yet they called Israel child-killers. It is Hamas that cares so little for Palestinian life that its fascist gunmen will happily hide behind patients in a hospital, using the ill and wounded as human shields – and yet it’s Israel, always, that is accused of devaluing the humanity of Gazans. Our cultural establishment falsely charges Israel with crimes that are actually committed by Hamas. These are Kafkaesque levels of deceit and blame-shifting.
This is what has been laid bare by the reported death of Sinwar in a tunnel under a hospital: the ruthless duplicity of Hamas and the staggering gullibility of the Western commentariat. This event threatens to drag the anti-Israel activist class off that moral highground they think they occupy. For 18 months they’ve been libelling Israel as a nation in the grip of such genocidal lunacy that it desires the destruction of every life-giving facility in Gaza. They overlook, or outright deny, the reams of evidence showing that Hamas hides in hospitals, stores weapons in hospitals, uses hospitals as bases in which to torture its opponents. Now we know it even has its highest level meetings under hospitals.
The cynicism and untruths of the anti-Israel set benefit no one but Hamas. In fact they’re the only thing Hamas has going for it right now. It might be losing the physical war with Israel, but at least it’s winning the propaganda war among the deluded faux-virtuous of the Western world. What these people call Israel’s genocidal destruction of the Palestinian people is in truth a war against anti-Semitic terrorism in which thousands of militants have been killed and their leaders taken out. We should be celebrating this dismantling of neo-fascism, not turning truth on its head by calling the nation responsible for it ‘fascists’.
