Trans people invading women’s sports & safe spaces is wrong. Surely ‘they’ should have their own safe spaces & sports competitions. ‘They’ are not biological women & this gives them a huge testosterone advantage in sports & turning up in women’s safe spaces is wrong . Otherwise we will follow America where that idiot ‘Yani’ got a women sacked because ‘she’ refused to wax his trans scrotum…. utterly crazy!

I’m never going to call ‘Mr wears glitter on face and lips’ she.
He isn’t if he wants to go by a stage name, fine, but in everyday discourse, he is quite visibly male. Let’s stop this BS
*If Mr. Glitter face goes through transition etc, then I would call him she, but self-ID is an absolute non-sense and the worst thing we did as a society was to indulge it.

My brother in law sat with a straight face about 14 months ago and told me his daughter’s son was now a girl: at 4 years of age. His daughter is gay, had IVF and the female partner had another baby that way too. Equal opportunity pregnancies. Ergo, the children could theoretically marry since neither of them is related!!!

What sort of whacky world view promotes this unmitigated garbage? What sort of belief in anything and everything would formulate a family where, like puppy farming, kids can be bred or custom made and brought up any old how?

Please answer the question; it is not a rhetorical one.

Brendan’s really obsessed with this tg thing, isn’t he?

Are you ‘Mr. wears glitter on face and lips, therefore am woman’?

No, but you are quite f-ed up…

So typical. A “forum” presented as fair and dispassionate, turns out to be two against one: the moderator and the transgender advocate against Brendan.
Something Brendan missed is that–I don’t think—he would not say trannies shouldn’t use the word they to describe themselves. It’s the demand that others call them this, or face public shaming and an annihilation of their reputations, that is Orwellian.

There is no ‘transgender movement’. It is a media-fabricated construct. O’Neill’s desire to shut down alternative opinions and force everyone to agree with him is in itself ‘Orwellian’.

Why should you give someone respect as the trans bloke expects, surely respect has to be earned ?
Respecting someone isn’t a given.
I don’t expect respect because I’m a man, I hope to get respect for what I do and say.
He made a complete spectacle of himself bobbing his head around all over the place when Brendan was speaking trying to not look at the camera, which of course is showing disrespect, something he thinks he should automatically be given.. no, in fact something he demands.
At the end of the day I simply cannot take a bloke wearing false eyelashes and lippy seriously.

I have to ask the obvious question: what kind of tranny is Amrou Al-Kadhi supposed to be? I thought the point of transgenderism was that someone wanted to be the opposite sex. Al-Kadhi looked l like a bloke in clown makeup, not like any woman I know. Even drag queens make more effort to look female.

I think Al-Kadhi is less a ‘transperson’, and more an attention-seeking preening narcissist. Oh, have I just committed a ‘hate-crime’ by criticising someone who claims to be ‘trans’? I don’t see how, given my comment is predicated on *disdain*, rather than ‘hate’. It would be helpful if the rozzers and the rest of the UK legal system learn the difference between those two words.

I see an army of millions of transsexuals on the horizon ready to rape women and destroy global civilisation as we know it.

Brendan O’Neill just doesn’t get the meaning of LIBERTY. Pathetic.

Don’t be scared of the transexuals…some are marginalised by and their quest to try and alter their biological sex has been high jacked by the self iders and the non binos who have lumped themselves in under the trans umbrella. A transexual actually wants a binary. The rest are pretenders.

Your hysteria has increased lately, a reality check might be in order.

Everything that Mr Inverted Commas says is pretty much an argument for why self identifiers and non binaries need to be challenged at every turn and why people will not be silenced. Oh sorry, people dare question your movement’s censorship. Soz mate, suck it up. The guy is a walking embodiment of absurdity. PS, Sam Smith enjoys a career unfetted by being slagged off and objectified unlike his female colleagues. Sam Smith, like you, can take your male priviledge and shove it.

ZENOBIA PALMYRA

8th January 2020 at 8:43 pm

Absolute crap. Sam Smith is judged continually by Anti-Woke Warriors like O’Neill and other saddos who are obsessed with identifying and destroying what constitutes a tiny minority within western society. The real threat to western culture and freedoms comes from the rejection of the Christianity that sustained us for more than fifteen centuries. That is the fundamental reason for the cultural and civilisational breakdown, not a bunch of harmless ‘trannies’.

Brendan did well but I didn’t like the interviewer/host, it would’ve been a better discussion without her. And she made zero effort to hide her bias against Brendan’s position.

Jerry Owen

9th January 2020 at 9:45 am

Jessica
Notice how the interviewer felt the need to apologize to him for calling him a ‘gentleman’ ?
She was correct he is a man, how extraordinary that you feel the need to apologize for seeing reality !

Thomas Smith

9th January 2020 at 12:14 pm

Because she’s on the side of the transgendered “woman.” That’s all. She’s (the moderator I mean–who the fuck else do you think I mean?!) so incredibly biased. It’s a sad commentary that she can get away with this garbage.

Jerry, observing reality, and not keeping schtum about your observations, is a criminal offence these days. And it doesn’t just apply to the trans issue: try mentioning the over-representation of certain ‘groups’ in the crime stats and see how long it’ll be before you get your collar felt. Unless, of course, those groups happen to be composed, predominantly, of white men…

Try mentioning that the ‘gender pay gap’ is a consequence of the choices women make (working fewer hours, taking more career breaks, etc), not a result of ‘patriarchy’. Okay, that one may not land you before the beak, but it may get you suspended from some social media services. For stating the truth.

Fortunately, the normal sensible folk are beginning to push back against such crap: Brexit, Trump and Boris are symptoms of this. But I fear the childish squealers (who, let’s not forget, wield power and influence beyond their meagre numbers) will get even more strident and hysterical before they finally slink off into that good night.
