Much to my Midwest mother’s dismay, I married a woman of Puerto Rican extraction, 1st generation citizen of the USA. I am as Caucasian as you can get. She is a good Christian woman, who despite their differences, befriended my mother to a point she grieved when my folks moved away to retire. I felt the need to educate/train my wife to defend herself and our babies when I worked nights. She proved an apt pupil, and makes me proud to this day. BOTH of our daughters are shooters.
I have long believed an untapped resource in the fight to preserve 2nd Amendment rights is (1) the residents of the inner city, and (2) recent immigrants processing into citizen status. These people under the US Constitution deserve just as much regard and protection as any other citizen. My father said of combat in the Pacific Theater of WWII, “You don’t care if the man in the foxhole with you is green with purple stripes on his tail; if you know he won’t run, and will continue to feed you ammunition under attack, HE IS YOUR FRIEND. To this day, anyone who acts as a citizen, is, in my book, worthy of regard. I may not like his music, but he may not like mine. But if he stands on his hind legs and acts as a man whom you might value as a neighbor, then I’m good. May God bless your efforts, and protect you from progressive, misled, demagogues.

No one ever wanted to make you unable to defend yourself for your own good. Nothing makes that more apparent than gun control in the US. It’s original purpose was to disarm the blacks.

“To disarm the people…[i]s the most effectual way to enslave them.”
– George Mason, referencing advice given to the British Parliament by Pennsylvania governor Sir William Keith, The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adooption of the Federal Constitution, June 14, 1788

Mr. Toure understands this very well.

I suspect the reason there are no comments here is that anyone commenting thinks they will end up on a list or having some kind of official visit.
