Though the free-speech fightback is well underway, the campus fragility culture is proving difficult to budge. Indeed, even among those who oppose No Platforming, Safe Spaces and trigger warnings, the idea that students are in psychic peril, particularly in terms of their mental health, persists. In this recording of Brendan O’Neill’s introduction to our recent student meet-up, he says students who are serious about challenging censorship must also champion the idea of the robust individual.
