Britain’s backdoor blasphemy laws

How the UK capitulated to Islamic censorship.

Topics Polemics

Despite not formally being an Islamist theocracy, Britain is increasingly resembling one. Teachers are being forced into hiding for showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad to their pupils. Activists are being arrested for burning Korans in public. Graver still, ex-Muslims and dissenting Muslims are being attacked – in some cases even killed – for their supposed crimes against God. How did we get here? In our latest video polemic, Tom Slater tells the story of Britain’s capitulation to Islamo-censorship, from the Salman Rushdie affair to the Batley Grammar scandal. Having abolished our Christian blasphemy laws long ago, we have ended up with new Islamic blasphemy laws by the backdoor, inked in blood and cowardice. For the sake of heretics of all faiths and none, we must fight for the right to blaspheme all over again. Watch, share and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
