Delete your spiked account
You can ask us to delete your spiked account and the personal data attached to it at any time.
How to request deletion
Email [email protected] from the address your account is registered to, with the subject “Delete my account”. Asking from the registered address lets us confirm the request is genuinely yours.
We’ll confirm by email once it’s done. Requests are normally completed within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account and login details
- Your name, email address and any billing or delivery address held against the account
- Your saved articles, downloads and notification preferences
- Your newsletter subscriptions
What happens to your comments
Comments you have posted are removed from your account, so they are no longer linked to you or shown under your name.
What we keep, and why
If you have supported spiked financially, we keep a record of those payments for as long as UK tax and accounting law requires. That record is kept for legal compliance only and is not used to contact you.
Deleting your account ends any active support or subscription. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an account once deleted.
