How has the unctuous Noel Edmonds suddenly regained television stardom? Having watched (purely for research purposes) his hit Channel 4 game show Deal or No Deal, I think I see how. Edmonds has rebranded himself as New Age Noel, a guru of positive thinking, Carole Caplin in a beard. And nothing catches on faster today than mumbo-jumbo about “positivity”.
