Bjørn Lomborg Bjørn Lomborg
is an associate professor of statistics in the
Department of Political Science at the University
of Aarhus. In 1998, he published four lengthy
articles about the state of our environment in
a leading Danish newspaper, resulting in a debate
spanning 400 articles in major newspapers. He
published The Skeptical Environmentalistin
2001, which has now been translated into Danish,
Swedish, Icelandic, German, Portuguese, Spanish,
Italian, French, Korean and Japanese. Lomborg
has contributed to many international publications.
Sallie Baliunas Dr Sallie Baliunas
is an astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian
Center for Astrophysics, Enviro-Sci Host for TechCentralStation
and past Deputy Director of Mount Wilson Observatory.
She also works
as a science consultant for TV shows, including
Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict.
Mark Saunders Dr Mark Saunders
is head of the Climate Prediction Group in the Department
of Space and Climate Physics at University College,
London. He obtained his PhD in Space Plasma Physics
from Imperial College London in 1982. He was a
European Space Agency Research Fellow at UCLA,
and a Royal Society 1983 University Research Fellow
at Imperial College London. He joined University
College London in 1993.

Her writing
specialises in issues of human psychology and
child development. Guldberg has a PhD in developmental
psychology and is an associate lecturer with the
Open University. She
was co-publisher of LM magazine from its
launch in 1997 to its closure in 2000.
