What’s wrong with owning firearms?

In this WORLDbytes special on gun controls, Canadian academic and author Kevin Yuill shoots from the hip.

On the WORLDbytes show Views on the News: Gun Control, Yuill argues that the idea of a ‘gun culture’ in the US is a myth, mass shootings are rare and guns are not magical objects making people killers as soon as they lay their hands on one. Despite scepticism from Views on the News participants, Yuill contends that there is no correlation between gun ownership and gun homicides. The belief that there is, Yuill says, stems from a distrust of our fellow citizens.
