The main reason why I dedicated my life to scientific activity was curiosity. As a child, I thought that basic education uses memory as its main resource, and that highly directed teaching limits curiosity and imagination. At university, there was greater possibility to study the subjects of my own interest, encouraged by several excellent professors.
Lately, the questions of my students have been a continuous source of inspiration. Guided by curiosity and the desire to know more, I have developed research in a variety of fields.
