Mark Perakh emeritus professor of physics at California State University in Fullerton Science has made religion an excessive luxury, so making as many people as possible aware of science is a much desired and important thing
There are many ideas and discoveries deserving to be made known, to as many people as possible, and I cannot choose only one that is most important. Perhaps I could point to the fact that science has made religion an excessive luxury, so making as many people as possible aware of science is a much desired and important thing. I realise, though, that such a view will hardly be met with appreciation by the overwhelming majority of the humankind. I also realise that the abolition of religion has its reverse side, as many will derive from it a permission to indulge in all kinds of misdeeds - even though science in no way provides a justification for unseemly behaviour.
