Science expresses what it means to be human

I should teach the world that science expresses what it means to be human. It is through the development of science that we can express our special attributes as human beings most clearly, because science demands the application of reason. Through the application of science, we can understand better and better what it means to be human, because we can control and manipulate more and more of nature.

We use science to develop and change our society. In doing so, we increasingly free ourselves from that which constrains us. This means that we can come to experience what is around us, and feel emotion, in a way that was not possible before. The possibility of something like love therefore goes hand in hand with the expansion of science.
