Dr Fernand Labrie
head of the Oncology and Molecular Endocrinology Research Centre at Laval University in Québec
The world is essentially the expression of nature

I should teach the world that the world is essentially the expression of nature. Science, then, is the only way to understand nature - to be able to live in harmony with her, and to make progress against its negative aspects, or errors. Science is the only means to win over human diseases, for example. It is thus extremely important that the best minds of our youth choose science as their career, thus improving the lives and the quality of life of all citizens of the world.

Fernand Labrie is coauthor of Prostate Cancer: Understanding the Pathophysiology and Redesigning A Therapeutic Approach (buy this book from Amazon (UK) or Amazon (USA)), and coeditor of Steroid Formation, Degradation and Action in Peripheral Tissues (buy this book from Amazon (UK) or Amazon (USA)).
