[14-Nov-2005]
 | What is Ian Gibson MP on? Something that causes a biological effect, that's for sure.
| According to the former chair of the parliamentary select committee on science and technology, in his contribution to this spiked-debate, 'there's enough indication that radiation does cause biological effects - that was the point, without being able to say there was no effect whatsoever. There was some biological effect, but there's no effect on people's health as such.'
| Putting a laptop on your lap also produces a biological effect, as does your granny's electric blanket. The scope for precautionary research and warnings now becomes limitless. Come to think of it, when I have lunch in a little while, that too will produce a biological effect and maybe even a health one. Crikey!
| Does Gibson have evidence of an activity that doesn't produce a biological effect? If not, than what are he and his committee on about exactly?
