[22-Nov-2001]
 | So Dr Mike Hulme says we should not use cost/benefit analysis to determine whether or not to adopt the Kyoto Protocol. One thing is certain: he would favour such analysis if its results were in support of adopting the protocol. Only fools use a 'cure' that does more harm than the 'disease'. The Kyoto Protocol - and anything like it - must be opposed by everybody who really cares about the environment, the poor and mankind as a whole. The opposition needs to be effective because the protocol is being supported by all the organisations that pretend care for the environment as an excuse to oppose industrial civilisation.
